A long time resident of Mankato,MN Jon Louis has had an even longer career in the Fireplace industry.
Starting in Alexandria, MN at the Fireplace Shop in 1987 until being transferred to Mankato in 1990.
Custom Fireplace started back in 1994 while Jon was working for a local fireplace company and many of their customers were not happy with the major brand they were selling and at the same time Majestic/Vermont Castings company was looking for distributors in Mankato.
Jon had worked with Majestic/VC brand which were the best in the industry, They were American made with fewer service calls, recalls and customer complaints. That made the decision to open his own fireplace shop selling the Majestic/VC brand primarily with a few select other brands very easy.
Jon has over 25 years of experience working with all aspects of fireplace sales, service & installation as well as chimney cleaning, repair and replacement.
